ECG heart tests
The ECG is a test of the electrical function of the heart, and can identify cardiac disease and warning signs for future heart problems.
Where a patient's history is suggestive of angina, or there are findings on clinical examination, we refer for exercise stress testing or echo cardiography.
Our consultant physicians are trained in the interpretation of heart tests.
There are screening tests available to help assess patients at risk of heart disease. These include CT calcium scores and CT coronary angiography. The appropriate use of such tests will be discussed with individuals as part of a wellness consultation.
